THERAPEUTIC STYLE
Overwhelmed by stress, worry, anxiety, or life changes? Maybe you find yourself caught in constant “what if” thinking, feeling weighed down by grief, or struggling with self-doubt and difficulty communicating effectively with others. You might be navigating a difficult transition, such as caregiving stress, a career shift, or loss, and want to feel more grounded and in control.
Therapy is a place to process these challenges in a supportive, judgment-free space. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, reduce the sense of overwhelm, and discover skills that bring calm and clarity back into your life.
I draw from a variety of approaches to fit your unique needs. Along the way, we’ll also focus on improving communication, setting boundaries to ensure your relationships feel healthier and more supportive.
Some of the treatment modalities that I draw from include:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
-
Person Centered Therapy
-
Solution-Focused Therapy
My style is collaborative, encouraging, and compassionate—with a gentle touch of humor to keep things grounded and relatable.
ABOUT ME
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire in 2010 and have been practicing as a psychotherapist since that time. My early clinical work focused on supporting youth in community mental health and school-based settings. In 2013, after obtaining independent licensure in New Hampshire, I shifted my focus to working with both adolescents and adults in a group private practice. Since opening my private practice in 2017, I have continued to provide mental health therapy to individuals through my independent business.

FAQ
What is Telehealth Counseling?
Telehealth counseling allows you to meet with me through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Instead of traveling to an office, you can connect from the comfort and privacy of your own home, or any quiet space where you feel comfortable.
I provide telehealth counseling for adults in New Hampshire and Maine. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a private place to talk. If you’re new to telehealth, I’ll walk you through the process step by step, so you feel comfortable and ready before your first session.
Benefits of Telehealth:
-
Fits more easily into your busy schedule
-
Gives you back time for the things that matter most
-
Let's you meet from a space where you feel most at ease
-
Offers the same professional support as an in-person session
How long are sessions?
Most counseling sessions are approximately 50 minutes long, with a few minutes at the end reserved for scheduling. Shorter sessions of 30–45 minutes can also be scheduled if arranged in advance. This gives us enough time to check in, explore what’s on your mind, and work toward your goals at a comfortable pace. Together, we’ll use this time in a way that feels most supportive for you.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I accept insurance for individual therapy sessions. I am in-network with multiple insurance companies. Self-pay is also accepted. If you have out-of-network benefits, I am able to provide a superbill for individual counseling sessions. This is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement depending on your plan’s coverage.
What are your accepted payment methods?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, HSA, FSA
Is family therapy covered by insurance?
Yes, if the sessions are focused on the person in treatment and their mental health goals. If, however, the sessions are only for family members’ needs, such as improving their own communication, managing conflict, or working on family dynamics separate from the person in treatment, insurance will not cover it, and it would be self-pay.
What is your missed appointment policy?
Life can be unpredictable, and I understand that unexpected changes may occur. Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours’ notice. Appointments missed without notice will be considered the client’s responsibility in accordance with my payment policy, as insurance does not cover missed sessions.
How do I get started?
Simply reach out by phone, email, or through the contact form to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, answer questions, and, if it feels like a good fit, schedule your first Telehealth session.
